West Des Moines Exterior & Roofing Questions, Answered
How much does a roof replacement cost in West Des Moines, IA?
Roof replacement cost in West Des Moines depends on your roof's size, pitch, and material choice. The most accurate number comes from a free, on-site inspection where we measure your roof, assess its condition, and provide an itemized estimate with no pressure and no surprises.
Do you handle siding, gutters, and windows in West Des Moines too — not just roofing?
Yes. Roofing is at the heart of what we do, but Andrew's Roofing is a complete exterior company. We install and repair siding, seamless gutters, energy-efficient windows, and attic ventilation, so West Des Moines homeowners get one trusted team instead of juggling multiple contractors.
Do you work on older and historic homes in Valley Junction?
Absolutely. Valley Junction and West Des Moines' older neighborhoods are full of character homes with steep pitches, detailed rooflines, and aging materials. We work on these homes carefully, preserving their character while bringing the roof, siding, and gutters up to modern performance standards for Iowa weather.
Can you repair storm or hail damage on West Des Moines homes?
Absolutely. Iowa storms often leave hidden damage to roofs, siding, and gutters that isn't visible from the ground. We offer free exterior inspections to catch damage early, then walk you through repair or replacement options and help with insurance claims if needed.
Do you serve all of West Des Moines and the surrounding metro?
Yes. Andrew's Roofing serves all of West Des Moines — from Valley Junction to Jordan Creek — plus nearby Waukee, Clive, and the wider Des Moines Metro. You get the same local, certified team and the same honest approach wherever you are.
Are you a certified contractor serving West Des Moines?
Yes. Andrew's Roofing is a GAF Master Elite® Contractor — a designation held by a small percentage of roofers nationwide — plus a certified FORTIFIED™ installer and VSI Certified siding installer. These credentials mean stronger warranties, proven installation standards, and work built for Iowa's toughest weather.

Great price
I never thought I would feel excited to work with a roofing company, but the folks at Andrew’s Roofing are the Real Deal. My thanks to Greg (now retired) and Daniel especially for the work they put in with us in 2024 to get a metal roof and new gutters installed on our house. Greg was very patient with our indecision, as well as prompt and thorough with his responses to our questions. Everyone was so very personable and easy to work with. Kudos to the team for asking if they could put our non-urgent roof work on hold to go down to SW IA to help with emergency repairs after a severe storm – we fully supported that! Andrew’s Roofing is family-owned, committed to treating employees well, and committed to giving back to the local community…all of which shows in the care they take with their projects and in all the communication we had with each team member. 16 months later, we are still very happy with our new metal roof, and we are still getting compliments from friends and neighbors on our gutters (who compliments gutters? people who notice nice work, I guess!). Five stars, and an enthusiastic recommendation to anyone who wants to hire great people to help take good care of their home.
“Andrew’s Roofing did a wonderful job installing our windows and siding. We are very pleased with their work. In the past, we have also had them roof two of our houses and add gutters to one of them. Their work ethic is amazing. They worked quickly, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend this company”
“Andrew’s Roofing Company was excellent to work with and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our roof replacement project. Trevor was very helpful from the start in assessing the project and providing estimates for the scope of work that met our needs. Fernando was professional and successfully managed our roof replacement. The installation crew was efficient and skilled. The whole staff was excellent in its communication throughout the project. I highly recommend Andrew’s Roofing Company for residential roof repairs or replacements. They are top notch”
