Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator

Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and organized Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This role focuses on creating engaging photo and video content, maintaining a monthly content calendar, and supporting our social media presence.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Specialist, who handles overall strategy and campaigns. This position also plays an important role in building strong relationships with our team, capturing authentic moments, and helping bring our brand personality to life through content that feels real, relatable, and consistent.

This is a full-time role with flexible hours. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for events or special shoots, and time can be adjusted during the week as needed. Graphic design experience is a plus, especially for creating social media graphics, promotional materials, and branded content.

Compensation

This position starts at $21.15 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute compelling content strategies tailored for multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.

  • Maintain and manage a monthly content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely coverage of company updates, promotions, and events.

  • Create high-quality visual and multimedia content, including photography, video recording, and video/photo editing, to support marketing campaigns and brand growth.

  • Design social media graphics and promotional materials as needed (graphic design experience preferred).

  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance metrics to support ongoing improvements.

  • Conduct social listening and trend research to understand audience preferences, industry topics, and content opportunities.

  • Proofread all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand voice, tone, and messaging.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal team members, partners, influencers, and online communities to strengthen brand presence and engagement.

  • Attend occasional events, job sites, or after-hours/weekend shoots to capture content; schedule may be adjusted during the week when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent certifications/experience.

  • Proven experience creating content for social media; portfolio or examples of work required (social media pages, reels, graphics, photo/video work, etc.).

  • Proficiency using Canva to create branded social media graphics and promotional content.

  • Experience scheduling and managing posts through Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram).

  • Comfortable capturing photo and video content on-site, including job sites, events, and team activities.

  • Strong photo and video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe, Canva, or similar.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to proofread and maintain a consistent brand voice.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and a monthly content calendar.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and bring personality to the brand through content.

  • Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events, with schedule flexibility during the week.
