GAF Master Elite® Roofing Contractor

Why GAF Master Elite® Certification Matters

When you hire a roofer, you're trusting them with the single most important system protecting your home. The GAF Master Elite® certification exists to take the guesswork out of that decision. Awarded to only 2% of roofing contractors in North America, it signals that a company has proven its skill, stability, and commitment to doing the job right. Andrew's Roofing Company is proud to hold this distinction and bring that standard to every roof we install across the Des Moines area.

What Is a GAF Master Elite® Contractor?

GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer, and Master Elite® is the highest level of certification it offers. Because the requirements are so demanding, only a small fraction of contractors ever qualify — and the status must be maintained year after year, not earned once and kept forever.

Master Elite® Contractors are fully licensed where required, properly insured, and held to GAF's strict standards for workmanship and professionalism. The certification also unlocks GAF's strongest, longest warranties — coverage that only Master Elite® contractors are authorized to offer homeowners.

What It Takes to Become Master Elite®

Proper Licensing & Insurance

Master Elite® Contractors must carry the appropriate state licensing and adequate insurance, protecting both the homeowner and the crew on every project.

Proven Reputation

GAF requires a documented track record of quality work and satisfied customers before a contractor is invited to join — and ongoing performance is reviewed to keep the status active.

Commitment to Training

Master Elite® Contractors stay current on the latest GAF roofing systems, installation techniques, and best practices, ensuring every roof is installed to manufacturer specification.
